Earlier this week, Drew was given a small U.S. flag that he is very proud of. That same day he skipped his nap and was pretty tired as we did our nightly routine before bed. We got ready for bed, said our prayers, and recited catechism. Before we tucked him in, I asked him if he could say the Pledge of Allegiance with his new flag. The following is an exact quote.
(With his little hand over his heart) I pledge allegiance to the Flag- of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, induh-induh-vis-ible, and have everlasting life. John 3:16.
Kids are so precious.
Oh Drew, How precious you are! You did such a great job on the pledge of allegiance! You are so cute! Probably some adults couldn’t do as good of a job as you! Stay sweet.
