Tired of paying upwards of $100.00 or more per month for a bunch of channels on Satellite TV you never watch? I was. I have dish network and I had the top 250 package with locals. With the product insurance and DVR fee I was paying around $105+ per month. Those clever dish network people have planned their packages so you have to subscribe to the highest basic package in order to get the channels most people like to watch.

From dtv2009.gov: “At midnight on February 17, 2009, all full-power television stations in the United States will stop broadcasting in analog and switch to 100% digital broadcasting. Digital broadcasting promises to provide a clearer picture and more programming options and will free up airwaves for use by emergency responders. “As the helicopter that Desmond and Sayid are being transported on flies through a storm, Desmond begins having “perceptions” of another reality of himself. This reality shows Desmond ranked as a private in the military. He begins flashing back and forth between these realities, and the shifting causes Desmond to lose all memories of the Island and Sayid, whom is accompanying him on the helicopter. It is further revealed that the shifting perceptions that Desmond is experiencing are actually a form of time travel. Desmond reveals to Daniel Faraday that he believes the year is 1996. It is possible that Desmond can alter the past.” - from Wikipedia
The fifth installment of Lost: Season 4 is the berries.
I am not recommending Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. I may have seen all the episodes so far, but I am not officially commenting on the quality of the show. The two-hour season finale is Monday. Thanks in advance.
“There is no way this winter is *ever* going to end as long as that groundhog keeps seeing his shadow. I don’t see any way out of it. He’s got to be stopped. And I have to stop him.”
“If you gotta shoot, aim high. I don’t wanna hit the groundhog.”
“Ned, I would love to stay here and talk with you… but I’m not going to. “
Chuck is an action-comedy that is a blend of The Office and Alias. Watch it when it returns or download it or watch it online.
(I don’t want to say too much for fear that They might terminate another great TV show.)

I knew this would happen, it was bound to. I fall in love with a show, tell my friends and family about a show, post favorable comments on my blog about a show, and look where it gets me- every time! The braniacs at NBC have decided to end “Journeyman“. A combination of me loving the show, mediocre ratings, and the writer’s strike are to blame. The 13 episode freshman series will end it’s first year with episodes at 10E/9C on December 17th and 19th . Kevin Falls, producer of “Journeyman”, says die-hard fans like myself will get closure with many questions being answered by the end of the 13 episodes, but adds that if the show is picked up next year, there will sufficient plot left to do a second season. Yeah, right. I am done talking about it.
Due to the Hollywood writer’s strike, many shows have shortened their typical season from about 23 episodes to about a dozen episodes. Many of the popular shows like ‘The Office’ and ‘Heroes’ have already wrapped up their seasons for the television year. Other shows like ‘24′ and ‘Lost’ will likely have to shorten their seasons as well. For example, ‘Lost’ will begin later so that it runs consecutively to end during May sweeps. It’s not the end of the world for me, but I really enjoy a few shows that are on now. I will mainly miss ‘Journeyman’, ‘Lost’, and ‘The Office’, in that order. All you girly men will probably miss those two medical shows (sarcasm). As far as the reality stuff, not so much. I may start watching some great shows from the past like ‘Alfred Hitchcock Presents’, ‘Hill Street Blues’, or ‘Dark Shadows’ (semi-sarcasm). If you need to get caught up on any shows, check out this how-to.
So, I axe you all, what will you miss most?
